Sometimes being called a "terrorist" is an honor

The political polarization of America is as significant as it was during the Civil War. The difference now is that tRump is no Abraham Lincoln.  He has unleashed his brainwashed base of zombies.

One of the components of his base are what can be called the “evangelical theocrats” who fight to bring Armageddon and the Rapture (i.e. in their vision the embassy in Jerusalem), right to chose and to bring down the separation of church and state among other things, so that America becomes the “Christian” nation they envision.  They support a misogynist, cheating, liar, crook and traitor as if tRump was their Antichrist. 

For about a decade I have been in the Board of Advisors of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (very long story short, I was once ordered to attend church by a superior in spite of my agnosticism, in another lifetime).  

tRump has injected steroids into his theocratic/racist base, many of whom were hiding in closets until he got elected.

An example of these “steroids” came out in a Facebook post recently.

So I am now a terrorist that has to be silenced.  What an honor!  (FYI, authorities have been advised about this threat by this retired USMC gunnery sergeant. We stumbled on this 12 day old post last week)

Things are heating up. Last week, the very brave MRFF founder and my friend, Mikey Weinstein, sent a letter to Defense Secretary Jim Mattis about the use of military seals in an evangelical fundie church operated by tRump’s “spiritual” advisor; Trump’s spiritual advisor busted by the Pentagon for illegally using military seals in ads for his church

In 2014 I tried to highlight this dynamic in a diary covering the hate mail we get; Do un┼o others mo┼herf*****. Angels and devils on Ventura Blvd. I get all the hate mail the MRFF receives and keep it in a folder.  Understanding who your opposition is fundamental in warfare, cultural or military.
