Artificial intelligence; an immortal dictator from which/(whom?) we cannot escape?

In the 1 h 18 min it also explains the role that Facebook and Cambridge Analytica played using artificial intelligence in the 2016 elections and the Brexit vote. 

It is also both an introduction to the artificial intelligence (AI) movement and where we can end up.  Will we be able to join forces with AI or will it just dispose of us accidentally or on purpose.

Global warming can bring the end of civilization as we know it within 20 years and so can AI.

The film highlights that the progress and evolution of AI is something that, specially in Google as the documentary explains, is out of any human control.  AI is having babies already; Google's AI Built Another AI That Outperforms Man-Made Models

Elon Musk is featured throughout the documentary as are many other extremely knowledgeable people including many AI entrepreneurs ans scientists.

AI will bring the 4th industrial revolution, it may also bring the end of the Anthropocene and the beginning of a new era when the impact on Earth will be determined by what a an all knowing, all powerful and conscious AI super-being decides.  Hopefully he/she/it will understand global warming and will want us as companions perhaps.

Robots will be one of the components of this AI super-being.  The documentary covers the progress of robots, self driving cars, surgery, etc. and it brings up autonomous weapons too.
