This was our first flyering event at the North Hollywood metro station, where the Red Line and the Orange Line meet.
Some Berners found out about the action through BernieSanders.com others heard about it through the East San Fernando for Bernie Facebook page.
It was a lot of fun.
A guy came out of the Red Line with a Bernie t-shirt and he turned out to be in the official campaign. Evan Burger is in the Advanced Team and he took a photo with us. We also connected to organize other events.
Some volunteers also went to the nearby farmers market.
In all we must have passed about 200+ flyers and talked to dozens of people about different issues.
Only one guy returned a flyer I gave him. He was a Trumper.
Another attractive young woman returned it because she was going to vote for Bernie anyway and she suggested I give it to someone else.
The volunteer group was very diverse; young and old, Latino, African American and others, men and women.
We decided to do this every Saturday and next time we'll have more signs, flyers a foldout table and a PA system.
