The political revolution is on! The revolutionaries are getting things done, going through learning curves and having fun in the front lines.

It's all happening with a minimum of central coordination thanks to the BernieSanders.com page to organize events.

Last week I attended 3 events and helped organize 2 of them.

Flyering in Downtown Los Angeles during the Art Walk; North Hollywood Metro station flyering and Granada Hills Food Truck Festival flyering.

If you are going to organize a flyering event this is a good place to start; Flyering and Outreach How-to Guide

All these events are listed for your RSVP on the events page at BernieSanders.com.

Sorry about the quality of photos for the Downtown LA for Bernie Art Walk event.

The Art Walk happens every month the next one is on October 10. Last time volunteers had two tables on Spring St.

The Granada Hills Food Truck Festival every Friday is a perfect venue;

We got together early at 5PM by the nearby Starbucks to organize and bring up the first timers about what makes sense when flyering.

Some volunteers couldn't wait to get started.  Talk about enthusiasm.

I was impressed with the number of young people that showed up.

The table became our HQ.

The North Hollywood Metro station on Saturday mornings event has happened 5 times already.

And so many people are volunteer that some are organizing a booth for Bernie at the nearby farmers market.

Next, inspired by this Honk for Bernie event, I am planning to start a similar one on the very busy Ventura and Sepulveda boulevard intersection in Encino.

Update

I just got back from the Congressman Brad Sherman's townhall.  He triangulated on the Iran deal so much he almost convinced me of his no vote. There were over 500 people and many issues were brought up by the audience, GMO labeling, animal cruelty legislation, disabled ticketing in flights, etc.  The loudest applause, by far, was when a friend of mine and fellow Berner asked him if he would endorse Bernie.  He didn't say one way or the other but had nothing but good things to say about him.
